About Us
Honeycomb Author Services began in early 2023 when a group of like-minded friends decided to take on the publishing industry. With professional editors and inspiring writers working hard every day, we love our little hive this side of the Internet!
Meet our team!
From bookworm to busy bee, we have a devoted team whose biggest passion is helping authors.
Brianna De Man
From stapling construction-paper books together at eight years old to being in the publishing industry for the past three years, Brianna De Man has always been a lover of all things creative. She strives to amplify author's voices through her work and rekindle their passion for storytelling.
Brianna currently works as an associate editor and project coordinator for Innovo Publishing LLC. She is also a freelance editor for the Christian Publishing Portal and is Lead Line Editor and Proofreader for Story-weaver Publishing LLC. She has a Bachelor's in Professional Writing and Information Design and a minor in Editing and Publishing from Cedarville University.
Gabrielle Ham
Even before Gabrielle Ham could read, she was fascinated by stories. From making books with scraps of fabric as a toddler, to spending nights scribbling stories on printer paper in middle school, to running the creative club in college, storytelling has been a central feature in her life. Now she works to help other storytellers strengthen their craft and recognize the potential in their novels.
Gabrielle currently works as a freelance editor, helping writers cultivate strong stories and clear prose. She has a Bachelor's in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Editing and Publishing from Cedarville University.
Emily Vest
Emily Vest has always loved storytelling, from playing adventure with her neighbors to working on her own science fantasy trilogy and pursuing a career in publishing. Now, she aims to hone her passion for writing and editing by helping fellow writers polish their own stories and reach publishing success.
Emily serves as Lead Developmental Editor with Story-weaver Publishing LLC and a proofreader with Innovo Publishing LLC. You can read her published work in Adelaide Literary Magazine, The Albion Review, and The Cedarville Review. She has a Bachelor's in English Literature with two minors in Creative Writing and Editing & Publishing from Cedarville University.
Alayna Drollinger
Ever since her Pennsylvania days of writing poems on a wooden swing, Alayna Drollinger has pursued beautiful words in whatever form they might take—novels, poems, history, friendly anecdotes, etc. In her quest to fill the world with words, she has dedicated herself to encouraging writers in their creative journeys and helping them draw the most potential out of their work.
Currently, Alayna is completing her degree in English at Cedarville University, along with minors in Creative Writing, Editing and Publishing, and History. She works at the writing center and leads a creative writing workshop, helping students and aspiring writers cultivate their craft.
